Drones on the other side, are able to wield edge-cutting camera which gathers information without damaging the structure of the site, with high accuracy.
Furthermore, their versatility allows a wide variety of data to be acquired, ranging from high-resolution imagery to thermal and multispectral data.
They can reach complex to access locations such as top of walls ,and with his airborne nature it is able to have a view that reveals things that would otherwise be unnoticeable from human perspective.
Drones are able through advanced technologies to combine all of the data they gathered about the historical monument and amalgamate it into a highly detailled 3D model.
These models not only are precious records of long gone events ,but those data are also a must when it comes to restoration efforts as it would allow unparalleled precision.
